The HRBP Lab - the program

What is the program about?

The program is the core of the HRBP Lab platform - we wanted to create a grounded, no-nonsense development program designed for HR Business Partners who want to bridge the gap between role expectations and the practical realities of their unique organizations.

The program focuses on actionable tools, authentic influence-building, and real-life strategies and aims to be a basis for HR Business Partners to calibrate their capabilities within the expectations of their role in their context.

Our specialization packages in 2026

In 2026 the key focus areas for both companies and People teams are AI integration, large-scale transformations and the evolving landscape of setting up and collaborating with Works Councils

This shift in the market brings new challenges that will require HRBPs to find the right balance between business acumen, technological savviness and transformation readiness. Navigating these demands to create impact in their unique organisational context requires both having the right expertise, tools and mindset, but also a new layer of personal stability and growth.

By addressing this market landscape, our three specializations aim to provide the HRBPs with new skills, while focusing on the individual impact of the role - to keep authenticity, individual resilience and development in sync for a sustainable journey forward.

Find the schedule for our specializations here.

AI readiness

4 Days of training, 2 individual coaching/mentoring sessions

Costs for the specialization package: 2.850,00 Euro + VAT

(650/session, 125/coaching/mentoring slot)

AI is already reshaping how organizations hire, develop and manage people.

Most HR teams are being asked to support AI adoption without the tools or skills to lead it.

In a market where there is a lot of noise, a fatigue of tools without the answer to “How does this apply to me?”, this specialization is built for HR professionals who need to move from observers to active drivers of AI-enabled change, while also becoming sharper practitioners in their own role.

Note: Participants will have to have their own access to any AI tool out there before the start of the course (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT etc.)

  • Build the credibility and language to partner with leadership on AI strategy, as the person who understands what happens to people when you change how work gets done

  • Map how AI reshapes roles, identify where re-skilling is needed, and lead the change without creating panic

  • From Talent Acquisition to Onboarding, L&D and Performance Management - how do you enhance the processes through AI

  • Customizing AI usage to increase your personal effectiveness: Hands-on. Use AI to work faster and sharper in your own role,  while knowing what to keep human.

Transformation readiness

Often change feels either constant or spontaneous as it is triggered by the top and it's understood first by a few people.

And especially when transformation is pivotal for setting up the organisation differently, expertise and skill building to support these kinds of transformations ethically and successfully is often done too late.

This is why we want to equip HRBPs with a dedicated insight into partnering transformations with high impact before the change hits. So transformation can be orchestrated more smoothly.

3 Days of training, 1 individual coaching/mentoring sessions

Costs for the specialization package: 2.075,00 Euro + VAT

(650/session, 125/coaching/mentoring slot)

  • Understanding the why, when and how of bigger transformations and the role you can play as HRBP in your organization

  • Learning about the right structure, insights, advocacy and leadership partnering to effectively contribute from start to adoption

  • Stakeholder enablement, communication, liaising with legal experts or employee representation bodies like a works council

Works council readiness

2026, new works councils are getting elected across Germany. Some even for the first time. And diving into the implications on your work in the HR/People team and especially as an HRBP, is a starting point to build out a constructive collaboration with the body that is institutionalised for employee representation.

This is not a legal consultation but the insights and learnings are structured around the touchpoints and approaches you can take from an HRBP and HR professional perspective.

2 Days of training, 3 individual coaching/mentoring sessions

Costs for the specialization package: 1.675,00 Euro + VAT

(650/session, 125/coaching/mentoring slot)
